TF-IV Reflection and Artifacts
TF-IV
Assessment and Evaluation standard allows facilitators to demonstrate tools and technology for the assessment of students
work in order to increase productivity and communication amough faculty and to increase student achievement.
Controlling your own education and creating your own work through authoring
tools like PowerPoint, Movie Maker, Word and others can also allow the student to grow in ways the average pen and pencil
can do. (McMillan, K. 2007)
The artifacts I include are a sample page of STI which is a grading problem utilized by our school district.
This program allows teacher to identify student weakness. It allows faculty access to students grades, parental contact and
special needs such as IEP's and 504 plans. This gradebook can be electronically tranfered to guidance or even parents
for their review. Progress reports, missing grade reports, grade averaging for individual tests and assignments can be generated.
The second artifact is a research report outlining the increase in student achievement by utilizing authoring tools in the
classroom
